Stretch and Grow

$1 million proves you can do it. $10 million proves it’s repeatable. $100 million proves you’ve mastered it. Every level demands a bigger version of you.

I’ve always believed that if you set a clear goal and build a disciplined strategy to achieve it, you earn the right to pursue the next, greater challenge. That mindset started early. I was raised watching my mother—a strong, determined woman—raise two boys while becoming a college professor without a degree of her own. From her, I learned resilience. From my upbringing, I learned work. Whether it was hauling hay, welding, driving a tractor, or helping build our family home by hand, I developed a deep respect for effort and a willingness to take on challenges others might avoid.

By the time I graduated high school, I knew I wanted more, even if the path wasn’t obvious. Without immediate access to college, I created one—working the midnight shift stacking bags to pay my way forward. That same drive led me into a top brokerage firm by the age of 21, where I learned the fundamentals that still apply to every real estate deal today: discipline, persistence, and the ability to create opportunity where none appears to exist. I made hundreds of calls a day, refining my approach, building relationships, and learning how to close. When challenged to open 30 accounts in 30 days, I closed 90. That experience taught me that results come from consistent execution—and that most limits are self-imposed.

Around that time, I adopted what I now call a “stretch and grow” philosophy—one that directly translates into how I approach development. In commercial real estate, the best opportunities are rarely obvious. They require stepping into uncertainty, seeing beyond current conditions, and having the conviction to move forward while others hesitate. I learned to set goals that pushed me beyond my comfort zone, to visualize outcomes before they existed, and to adjust relentlessly—refining strategy, solving problems, and staying focused on execution. That process is no different than taking raw land and turning it into a high-performing asset.

Over time, that mindset carried into a range of ventures—from manufacturing and restaurants to technology and ultimately large-scale real estate development. What I discovered is that the core of every successful project is the same: vision, relationships, and execution. The ability to see what a piece of land can become, align the right partners—municipalities, tenants, capital—and then bring it to life in a disciplined way. Commercial development isn’t just about buildings; it’s about creating environments that drive traffic, generate revenue, and sustain long-term value.

Today, my focus is on large-scale commercial projects and public-private partnerships where that alignment is critical. I specialize in identifying overlooked opportunities—sites where infrastructure, demand, and timing can be brought together to unlock value. Through disciplined deal structure and execution, I work to reduce risk while creating strong, predictable returns. For investors, that means opportunities to deploy capital in a way that is backed by real assets and real demand—often outperforming traditional investment channels.

At its core, my business is about building—building projects, building relationships, and building long-term value. I don’t chase deals for the sake of activity. I focus on opportunities where we can create something meaningful, something that performs, and something that lasts. I work hard because it’s the only way I know how to operate, and I’m always focused forward—on the next project, the next opportunity, and the next level of growth.
